Very interesting conversation! I have heard of the Iraqi missile, the Al-Samoud. But as for the Al-Massoud......? I know of two Moslem leaders by the name of Massoud; one of them was the anti-Taliban opposition leader who was killed in Afghanistan, and the other is Massoud Barzani, a Kurd leader. By the way, a CNC commentary had it this morning that despite claims to the contrary by the US military, the Patriot missile, according to MIT professor Postol, was pure hype and ineffective against Iraqi scud missiles. It said the Arrow (Israeli version of the Patriot) was better. Samoud and Massoud! Interesting transposition, eh? Or was some "dyslexia-spoonerism" involved here ...........???????? <gggggg>
