How would you have gotten Saddam out of power? How long would "your means" take to remove the Saddam regime from power? Perhaps I will understand "your very important fact", when you put it in writing.

If you were to poll everyone on this thread

1.) Do you think Saddam Hussein should be removed from power?

2.) Do you think the current means are the correct means?

3.) Do you think the current means will cost more than the ends are worth in terms of:
a.) US safety?
b.) US leadership ability?
c.) US economic stability?

4.) Do you think greater diplomatic efforts to gain support from Arab nations in the region would have been beneficial in an effort to remove saddam?

5.) Do you think greater diplomatic efforts to gain support from other nations around the world would have been beneficial in an effort to remove saddam?

6.) Do you believe a comprehensive strategy toward 4 & 5 was properly pursued?

7.) Do you think Iraq posed a direct and immediate threat to the USA or its allies?

8.) Do you think there is credible evidence that Iraq was preparing to launch an attack or invasion of some kind on the USA, its allies or any of Iraq's neighbors?

1 yes.
2 no.

We realize it, but I haven't seen any proposals for other means that have not been tried already. What do you propose?
Also, I don't think many are "pro war" except as a very last resort, which is what this war is.
