I, of course, hope that Rummy and co win out. Only way to go, IMO. We are going to get blamed no matter how Iraq goes, so we might as well run the whole thing. Trying to "Window dress" part of it with UN/EURO help will only make things worse, and we will still take the heat. I think the biggest advantage of having gone to the UN is that now Bush knows for sure he can't trust these bastards, and that relying on Powell does not work. Powell has also learned a good lesson.
