Bushies are already downplaying WMD's. Bill Kristol said we may not even find any, and that was two weeks ago before we even started. Truth is, the Bushies never knew for sure if there were any WMD's and didn't care.

As for economics, balance the books, tell the truth, dont steal from Peter to pay Paul, and if we need to sacrifice tell us we do. In opast wrs people were urged to buy war bonds and conserve energy and materials. Bush has asked nothing from us but to cheer him on. If our government needs revenues to keep from sinking, Bush should tell us "sorry, the old tax cut scheme was too optimistic, I blew it" and change policy like his father did. Some on this thread credit Bush Sr. with starting the Clinton recovery. If he did, fine, then let his son start the John Kerry recovery.
