<Of course, once the smoke has cleared, then people will be more demonstrative.> Thanks for the link. I see the celebrations have started and the smoke has cleared in some places. But I bet the crowds are still circumspect and it seems that only the more enthusiastic were saying or doing much.

You obviously didn't read on. You have also missed the point. The main reason for the invasion wasn't to free Iraqis and get the cheers. Just as the main reason for invading Afghanistan wasn't to get the cheers and free Afghans. It's a lie or ignorance to say otherwise.

But I would not have supported the invasion if I didn't think there would be at least 70% support among Iraqis [including Sunnis, not just Shites and Kurds].

You have obviously suffered confusion and misunderstood my position. < Sorry Maurice, these folks are ONLY Shia. They don't count right? Neither do the Kurds. After all, the Kurds are just stooges for Bush right? >

Sky News (British version of Fox) reporting rumors of II MEF after lying in wait for weeks in the desert outside of Jordan, on the move, coming at Baghdad from NW.

If so, high fives!
