<<<If its all you hear, why wouldn't it work? I listen to the Beeb night after night, and wonder, how is it that the official news channel of Great Britain wants the British to lose in Iraq? and badly too, by the sound of it. >>>
Because 'news' today must provide sensational and eye grabbing headlines and there is nothing equivalent to a war to provide the gist for speaking against the Party in power and causing fear and panic by unsupported and outrageous speculations. Which make fortunes for Newspapers and T V stations.
It is not news to report that a veterans group says ""we support the the War" nor to remind people that GWB had 100% support from Congress to conduct this operation
. Without an equivalent 911 event in Britain, they have not yet fully awakened from a deep slumber and contemplated what the release of WMD's in London could do to them and the economy.
