Wow, you sure would have been popular during the Crusades!! I myself am still under the belief that Muslims are no different then Christians ie they are human too. I think most of them are oppressed by rulers robbing them of their wealth and keeping them poor with little say, as a result they become easy fodder for religious Zealots who attempt to blame their plight on other reasons. Now, IF Iraq becomes the shining light of the Middle East what then will they be able to say and who will they blame? I would HOPE they would say we too want to be part of the program, maybe even Iraq could become the FINANCIAL CORPS (like our Peace Corps) and go among the peoples praising the USA and G.B. for saving them and restoring their human rights and dignity. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq has the raw material to work with and presuming these are intelligent people we SHOULD be able to pull this off IN TIME, if we can just keep the Zealots out. jdn
