Our boyz were busy dumping dollars on the market to push the debt prices down and thereby get all those asset allocation programs to sell debt and buy equity.

We can't really be expected to be dumping liquidity on the market and supporting the dollar at the same time.

I can't figure out why Japan thinks its cheaper to support the dollar than it is to just subsidize their car companies more directly. I guess if they were to do something like that they would be in violation of some fair trade treaty.
