If Scott Ritter is the best you got, sorry. Oh, yes his
deviant transgressions are relative to his credibility.
However, he has repeatedly contradicted himself on Iraq &
WMD. The fact is, his most credible evidence was
substantiated in the UN reports, not the complete reversal
some years later....... with no facts or evidence to
support himself.

The last poll I saw showed that 60 or 80%, I forget which, now believe that Iraq was directly involved in 9/11, whichever % it was it had been steadily increasing although no concrete links had been made since the last poll. It is a remarkable, but sad fact that if something is repeated often enough, especially by someone who should be in a position to know, the masses will start believing it.
