I heard one of the embeds saying that stretch of road had changed hands 4 times within a few hours. One of the errors of Nam was the concept that you take ground instead of killing Cong. You want to find, fix, and kill these people. We are running the roads, fairly safe in Tanks and Bradleys, trying to draw fire and kill bad guys. In the meantime, we complete ringing the city and sealing it off. We still have to seize the Northern oil fields and a lot of diehards to kill. Our ops center that was hit was indicative of the work left. The more of the bad guys we eliminate now, the less that will be left as potential suicide bomber types. We are going to get a lot less lip from rogue states in the future because of this action.
