If you read that release carefully, you'll find that that report is coming from an unnamed "top official" from the 1st Marine Division. US Central command couldn't comment on the report. So it's second hand news coming from an unnamed source. I'd take it with a grain of salt, just like many of those previous reports that came out and were later retracted.
