The hype now is to find a partner for it. from their website:

>>Curis has developed one of the small molecule Hh inhibitors (CUR-61414) to the point of IND acceptance and is now seeking a partner with dermatological clinical expertise to complete the evaluation of human therapeutic safety and efficacy.<<

Cheers, Tuck

Are happy days here again?

Entremed (ENMD) was up 153 % today after a pressrelease on some preclinical data. The drug is actually already in phase II. So far without producing - as far as I know - anything note-worthy. At least as far as treatment effects are concerned.

The traded volume was (according to Yahoo) 8.545.255 shares compared with the one-year daily average of 66.590.

Considering the clouds shading the company's immediate financial future the enthusiasm shown is a little bit difficult to understand.

Do these clouds indeed have a silver lining, or...?
