I doubt that Saddam gave any WMD to Al Qaida. They despise him - he's a bad muslim in their eyes. IMO there is no link between him and Al Qaida. The Radical Islamists in the north were in territory not under Saddam's control.

If Al Qaida was able to release WMD on America, surely they would have done it by now. Why would they wait until Iraq is conquered?

I expected brutal bloody street to street combat in Baghdad. That is not happening. Saddam's regime seems to be crushed.

I don't see much potential for terrible news coming out of Iraq. Would Saddam loyalists release WMD in the city proper?
