Ted Williams was a fighter pilot. Served in both WWII and Korea. He once landed a plane while on fire; no one could explain why it didn't explode in mid-air.

Not many modern athletes like him.

KT, I think Regan enlisted. You can choose the branch of service but they tell you what you are going to do so you can't take that away from him. Clarke Gable wanted to be a pilot but they said make movies. Mike
