No, Kerry needs to attack Bush even more, every day until November 2004. Bush has had a long cozy honeymoon largely immune from criticism. He has used 9-11 and war to try and make criticism of him "un-ptriotic" but it wont work anymore.

Kerry's volley signalled the beginning of the real battle foe the White House, actually more of a war. And I'm putting my money on Kerry.

Once the "Republican Guard" of chickenhawks around Bush folds he will be left as a paper tiger and emperor with no clothes. He has no issues to run on other than war, and on military matters, Kerry trumps him. At least, Kerry can take 50% of the veterans vote. They trust Kerry and dont like the way Bush is trying to cut their benefits.

John Edwards will win the Democratic nomination. He has a slight chance against Bush, but it's a very slight one.

I agree. But, I think John Edwards has a better than even chance to beat President Bush. Edwards will carry North Carolina and possibly some other Southern states. If he does, it's all over for Bush. And Edwards should be competitive in the MidWest.
