eims, you have a beautiful newborn baby. How would you feel if your babies limbs were blown off by an enemy? Would it be worth the price of so-called "liberation".

Don't you think that maybe another alternative could have been attempted before resorting to war?

The point of the post is:
"Although it is certainly too late to try any other means the lessons to be learned from this event are still forthcoming. In that context it should be necessary to continue to explore the history of the event dating back to the first Gulf War. Alternative means that could have been implemented should still be considered in an effort to focus on less blunt diplomacy as more desirable in the future."

You just can't let go of the death can you? You're basking in it.
And what do you project the death toll would have been in your "incremental" plan? Another 100,000?
The war may well have caused that many before humanitarian relief can stop it.
