If you look at the stories, they have the tell-tale signs of misleading reporting.

Note in particular the location changes without making it clear what was found at each location.
U.S. soldiers found the suspect chemicals at two sites: an agricultural warehouse containing 55-gallon chemical drums and a military compound, which soldiers had begun searching Saturday. The soldiers also found hundreds of gas masks and chemical suits at the military complex, along with large numbers of mortar and artillery rounds.

Pesticides in an agricultural warehouse, and artillary shells in a military base. No real association is made between the two, only implied. The organophosphate chemicals like Sarin are quite similar chemically to the common industrial organophosphate pesticides like Sevin or Malathian and would likely trip the detectors for which a "better safe than sorry" hair trigger is used.

Then there are cryptic statements such as:
Sarin can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin and is considered one of the most feared but also the most volatile of the nerve agents.

The G-Series nerve agents like Sarin are deadly, but the VX is generally considered more deadly.

A nerve gas story should not need additional hype to be accurate, but hype can get it repeated if the accuracy is questionable.

The real tell is at the end
Troops not wearing chemical protection suits later reoccupied the military complex, while sections of the agricultural warehouse remained taped off.

An agricultural warehouse may be a good place to hide a chemical weapon, but it would not be a very good place to have one ready for use. The article raises many flags to the discriminating reader.
