I must admit that Fleckenstein's announcement the other day that he was closing all his short positions has spooked me somewhat.

How big a bear market rally do you think a quick capture of Saddam could set off? There's so much cheap money all over the place --so many loose dollars around the whole world-- that could be put into stocks. This post-1995 bull market/bubble has affected me somewhat the way the 1930s crash affected the bulls. Instead of depression mentality, it's bubblephobia. Wish I knew the Greek root word for "bubble"
