Imagine...the stuff must have been all over the place...so much so that they were walking around in it....puhleeze.
If it showed up on shoes it would have shown up EVERYWHERE.

Tigerpaw, The test kits are not foolproof. They are meant to detect traces of assorted agents. If you get a drum of a pure chemical that is not an agent, it might be present in such a high conncentration that it forces a false positive on the sensor.

CO detectors are the same way. Made to detect a few parts per million of CO, they will give a false positive if you shellac the floor and fill the air with alcohol shellac solvent.
