frankly, we have more than enough weapons systems. However we are now in danger of being spread out too thin and draining our treasury to support this new military imperialism. If 9-11 type attacks have stopped, why not now gradually move back toward a peace and prosperity footing? Keeping our guard up of course.

What a thing to brag about. Who can build more tools of destruction. We could spend one fraction of what we spend and still vanquish a country like Iraq.

Yes but we would take more losses, and also more Iraqi civilians would die. Its not unlikely that more Iraqi soliders would die because the war would last longer.
