The law of the land you and I live in, disagrees with your reasoning. The drug dealers and murderers we prosecute do not play by anyone's rules either. But the courts have held that the damage caused by the government stooping to their level is far greater than the damage the criminals cause. This has been the consistent ruling of the courts everywhere in the civilized world.
