comparisons of fishes ///

I must leave for the day, as I've only been online a couple of hours ...
this dratted abscessed tooth is still causing some problems ..

monkfish is an AWESOME catch ...
and that little bitty 10% tail IS good ....

when Julia fixed some more than a few years ago on her program, she didn't show the live fish .. just cooked it ..
so, I had one of the guys I know who had the fish for his restaurant flown in daily to get me some ...

dang it was GOOD ... and not even too costly

it was after I'd eaten it several times that someone showed me a pic of the monster .... hah hah hah hah .... I had a FIT .... ROFL

and of course, it fits YOU well .....

and that sweet little crappie is the opposite of the monkfish ...
90% sweet, kids LOVE catching it, lots and lots and lots of fishing holes have them ....

LOL

ps
hope Larry is feeling better, and so I'll wait some before going into a discussion concerning CARP ....

but, I can't leave without saying .. in spite of the less than savoury reputation, I have a method of pressure cooking them that I defy anyone to differentiate between it and pink salmon .....

but .. that is for another time ... gggg
