Sigh! Then you should. I know it is long, but it is worthy of the read. It provides a good frame work for discussion and understanding. But it is only a good framework. It is not the ultimate truth.

Not at all. That is not what I am saying. I find it interesting that the many people who use relative moralism to justify their position, use absolute form when it comes to expansion of pop-culture. The sheer number of our marketing behind pop-culture, it all encompassing nature, and the pace of its expansion make all the difference. Look at it this way, rough abrasions on your hand will lead to calluses because they are limited to one part of your body and you have time to incorporate them into your physiology. But the same thing hitting you on all sides (or at higher strengths) easily kills you. Size matters.
