I turned on Fox this morning, and was quite surprised to hear Marxist rhetoric emanating from my TV. They were railing on and on about how someone could have marble in his home while others are starving. No, they weren't talking about Bill Gates vs. the homeless. Of course, they were talking about Saddam vs. the Iraqi poor. So, I don't want to hear any more about Fox's right-wing bias. -g-

"I think this kind of military aggression on the part of our country is disturbing to a great many people."

Well then, you aren't against the war with Iraq. The cease
fire agreement from the Gulf war included a requirement
that Iraq disarm of ALL offensive weapons. For the
following 12 years they relentlessly failed to comply.

Legally, this is a resumption of hostilities. There is no
legitimate way to spin this irrefutable fact.

Yes, the other Monty Python connection is one of the announcers observed that when Iraqi TV shows Saddam, they first show cheesy animation that looks like Monty Python.

I think that many people in the country will wait to see what Bush's post-Iraq move is. If it is what I hope, pressure on Israel and Palestine to come to an agreement, then I for one will be content. If he turns to Syria, I suspect we'll see plenty of fireworks both abroad and at home, unfortunately...
