Cut the self-righteous indignation over Kerry's legitimate on-target attack. We DO need a regime change in DC, and we will get it. Bush's administration is the most partisan, secretive, manipulative, imperialist and arrogant in history. It IS a regime and needs to be exposed as such. It seeks to silence dissent, character-assasinate critics, cheat at elections, use war to diver attention from failures and subvert democracy and free speech. The Bush administration is fine for fighting wars, but nothing else. An if we need to fight a war during Kerry's administration he will be damn good and smart at the job. After all he's been there. Bush and his Republican Guard and special interests advisors are just strategic chickenhawks, and calculating liars.

But with Americans fighting and dying overseas, you had best show respect for the commander in chief and respect for the gravity of the conflict he is now leading.

Well, DeLay and a lot of other politicians did that when our troops were in Kosovo. The gravity of the conflict was immense too -- we were trying to prevent "ethnic cleansing" of the Kosovar Albanians.
