'the German designer of Saddam Hussein's underground bunker" Funny how the Germans, like the French & Russia, all worked so furiously to thwart any resolution against Iraq that threatened the use of force for failure to comply. Then we learn that all three had substantial financial ties to extremely lucrative contracts with Iraq. Then we learn that France & Russia were illegally selling billions of dollars of weapons, etc. to Iraq at very lucrative prices, long after UN resolutions forbid. Heck, France sold illegal stuff as recently as two months ago & Russia was still there after resumption of hostilities. So much for failed US diplomacy, 'eh? Regarding your billion dollar bunker, remember that the Butcher of Baghdad needed to be in it to be protected. Or did Germany build Iraq several highly profitable bunkers while they actively thwarted diplomacy in the UN?
