Unfortunately for the Treason Lobby, parading as the Democratic party, this war has destroyed the myth that patriotism is an "angle". The Democrats will be judged by the voters on their patriotism, with only about 15% of those voters being able to imagine any, and another 15% (the Patsy McKees) being fooled by them.

And that, as Sam Rayburn might have said, ain't enough...
