From your post:

"Sahhaf said they were not yet in Baghdad, didn't you hear him?" said Hisham Moniyyeh, 27, who runs a currency exchange shop in the southern port city of Sidon. "The Americans have been lying a lot since the beginning of this campaign so I don't believe them."

This clown runs a currency exchange shop where he can presumably see the strength of the dollar, and he STILL doesn't believe we're in Baghdad.

<sigh>

I'm not sure this is altogether good news.

The frustration in the Arab world has been brewing for a long time. Previously, most was directed at Israel. Redirecting it at America is not a good thing for our security. Their feeling of helplessness may eventually come to a head, where bin Laden's dream of a united Arab world vs the USA becomes a reality.

Hopefully, a democratic and free Iraq, chosen by their people, will become a model for the rest of the Arab world. We're entering the most important phase; the rebuilding. Here is where Bush can build a real legacy, or, a shambles.

You know what the problem with the Arab Street is? They SOUND like they have been listening to James Carville and the Congressional Black Caucus.

The Iraqis get their country back, but we need to appropriate the media. Al Jackoffa should be seized in Qatar. American companies who advertise on fanatical Arab media should be punished severely. The American public can do that part themselves, and are likely to. It will no longer be a secret if a Proctor and Gamble advertises their toothpaste on Al Jackoffa-it will be scandal...
