Dear Westi: I hope we dont CAVE to world opinion on this matter. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that we have to have a no nonsense command until law and order can be restored and I think that is going to take some time. You have a large country with everyone armed. It would be impossible to elect anyone other than a WAR LORD until law and order is established. The LAST thing I would want is a UN run country with nations like France having VETO power over every decision. Its quite OBVIOUS France is ONLY INTERESTED in FRANCE and they would strive to create any havoc necessary to promote THEIR advantage. Only the Coalition is capable of doing this right. I have no problem with the UN having some kind of ADVISORY role but NO DECISION MAKING role in government. The could have a good position in Humanitary relief, but even there some law and order is FIRST required AND that is going to take a little time as the ENTIRE POLICE FORCE needs to be overhauled and reconstituted. jdn
