What you are hearing from Jacob is what I refer to as the "Standard Liberal Foreign Policy line."

They see other counties as "Petulant Babies," who can kick, cry, and scream all they want. They see the USA as the world's Nanny, who must be patient, and put up with these petulant babies, and never get cross with them or spank them.

The days when this kind of thinking ruled, are over forever

It's good to beat your kids when you are all powerful, too.
