Qlgc continues to lead the FC industry in advancing the technology. Clearly outperforming Brocade in innovation as well as company and stock performance. Great management. wj

George,

It is interesting that CNT is buying INRANGE. Even though they were just a few miles apart, Ancor did not do business with CNT because INRANGE gave them the much needed cash in the Fall of 98, IIRC. I haven't kept up to speed, but I believe neither INRANGE nor CNT has a close relationship with QLogic anymore. Like most ANCR shareholders, I sure am glad INRANGE (looks like the all-caps name is going away) came around when they did.

Greg

The 4GB transition point is rather controversial and a number of vendors including, I believe, ELX and BRCD, have said they will skip that level and go straight to 10GB. I saw an article about it somewhere. Might have been byte and switch.
