Nope! not quite. I should have qualified it. Countries that are in the midst of total upheaval like the ones you name here do not count. Start by looking at the more normal ones, say India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, and work your way to Sweden. I imagine under Saddam, Iraq may have had a high suicide rate too. But that doesn't count IMO.

Witnessing the carnage in iraq, it seems to me that they have moved to the head of the suicide list. Fighting tanks with Toyotas is tantamount to mixing alcohol and barbiturates, no??? mike
PS Is Bashir thinking along these lines too?
