Until tonight, I had not watched the Iraq war unfold on tv. The misery and suffering made me sick
at my stomach. I almost threw up. Everywhere in Baghdad, there are dead and injured people
Buildings and homes were ripped apart. Missiles rained down on the city which was covered in smoke.
The noise from the planes, bullets and bombs was intolerable.
I've never seen anything like it.

Then, the tv network switched from Baghdad to Ireland where we saw Bush and Tony Blair. They are
so pleased with themselves. Bush looked like an ape when he smiled and talked about
removing Saddam's 10 fingers from the Iraqi people. Now, the Iraqi people will be smothered with
Bush's blood and America's guilt. How could he possibly think that the Iraqi people or anyone
would trust the United States?

When we moved to the local news, the reporters talked about the victory tee shirts that Bush was
going to sell to the public after he defeats the Iraqis.
The man is mad.
The German public compared Bush to Hitler. Now, we know why.

When Bush and Blair invaded Iraq, I refused to watch the national news because the images
that were projected on tv made you think Bush's war on Iraq would be an entertaining computer
game.

When the press claims that the American public approves of killing innocent people and the
destruction of their country, I don't believe the polls. Almost anyone who watched the national tv news
tonight on CBS would have been horrified.

As far as Saddam's soldiers go, they don't have a hope. They were armed with old weapons.
Their getaway cars were outdated police cars. As the journalist said, they were brave but they
don't have a chance against US soldiers.

Bush's war on Iraq is an attempt to keep the public's eye on him so that they will
focus on his wars and not on his disastrous economic and social policies. Certainly, he doesn't want
anyone to remember how the Supreme Court pushed him into the presidential office.

I am so upset that I really don't know how to answer your post, but I am sorry that I burdened you
with this outburst.
