Do you believe these views preclude multiple cyclical (1-3 year) bull/bear cycles within the long term (8-20 year) secular bear cycle with each cyclical bear bottoming at a lower low to adjust for overvaluation?

I believe the above pattern is what was experienced during the last Secular Bear (1966-1982). The DOW 1000 area acted as a glass ceiling during those years.
