I've learned a lot from this thread and now have, in my dotage, been fortunate to have gathered together some speedy tools with which to half@ss explain what I started out a long time ago doing by hand with a number 2 yellow wooden pencil and a Big Chief Tablet ....

Ron, the positiveness of YHOO's earnings and outlook and the markets POSITIVE response to it surprised even me. the fact that YHOO responded so strongly on earnings news, as contrasted with past years when it went down sharply on good earnings news, may mark a shift in investor/wall street sentiment on the stock. Looks like YHOO is moving to the forfront of internet companies, joining EBAY as the top tier. AMZN likely falling back to mid 20s or high teens even. then again, you probably view this as more shorting ops. ggg larry
