For someone who thinks that the Kosovo campaign was wrong for Clinton to pursue

I've never said I was opposed to action in Kosovo; I've simply said that it was less justified than the current war.

I distinctly remember in the early days of bush beginning to soften the country for this foregone war you stating your ambivalence on this very thread.

Yes, that's correct; but at no time was I unsupportive of the war effort. But I did have second thought about whether it was our place to do this. I also stated numerous times that when I have had second thoughts I need only to look at the history of Saddam Hussein to quickly realize that it is a righteous action that SHOULD be undertaken. There is nothing wrong with a degree of ambivalence over a war.

I can just imagine of what horrendous plot you would have accused Clinton for starting a war in Iraq at the apex of Starr's (the partisan scumbag) investigation.

I was FURIOUS when the weapons inspectors were denied access and left Iraq, while Clinton stood idly by and did NOTHING. I quickly recognized that Clinton's inaction was allowing a problem to fester which would only have to be dealt with down the road. I would have had much more respect for Clinton had he taken decisive action with respect to Iraq. I would have still thought he was sleeze, but at least he wouldn't have walked away from this particular responsibility.
