Wow that is really good You might enjoy Non-Zero- the Logic of Human Destiny (by the guy who wrote the Moral Animal). I haven't finished the book, but he is applying game theory to human social evolution, and in the beginning of the book he suggests we are at a crossroads right now, and that our society could evolve to a place where we look back on this time as a time of upheaval that prepared us for a new phase of social development. Anyway, your post made me think of the book.
