I know a former Mobil executive who loves Bush, but admits Iraq is mostly about oil. He defends this reason for invading. We need the oil so just take it from a dictator we want out anyway. WMD's were not part of his argument. This same Mobil executive admitted it would be possible to get off oil 75% within 15 years with an aggressive hydrogen energy plan. If we invested half the money this war just cost instead of the measly 1.2 billion over 5 years Bush was pushed into asking for.
