I have personally talked with many Arabs and Iranians over a 25 year period. And I dated woman from Turkey. I thought students from the UAE, etc. I have actually only have known a few people from Israel. Of my sample, some were fairly moderate, but many of Arab/Iranian group stated they felt Hitler was right in killing the Jews. It really isn't complicated, it reminds me of people who hate Blacks. Can seem nice on the surface, dig deeper and it's bigotry. Of course, they are mad they lost the land, however Israel is just as determined as they are to stay, and one would think the Arabs/Iranians could compromise a little. Do not underestimate their hatred for the West as well. Many accuse the US as being arrogant and imperialistic. Many many of the Arabs/Iranians are extremely ethnocentric and want to return to an Arab Empire. Bin Laden and Saddam are the ultimate of arrogance, and intolerance.
