I actually like alot things about their cultures.
The music, food, clothing, art,etc.
After watching the news, I would really like to see Iraq as a tourist. Karbala looks amazing.

Like all people it is easy to find shared values of family,
goals, and security.

I am very bewildered though at their blind hate. I really
don't see it on this side as much this time, not that we (again like all cultures) can't fall into that abyss.
During the Iranian hostage crisis, I did see a lot of anti-Iranian hostilities. However, most of my UAE students had lots of friends from other cultures.

"I bet we'd be every bit as hate filled as the Arabs and Israelis if we had to deal with the stuff they face on a daily basis."

I guess what I found bewildering about my UAE students was that their country is miles away from Israel.
And these students were loaded with free housing, free education, and other UAE perks. Why were they mad with the Jews? They readily admited they liked Hitler. No joke.
