Transcript: President Clinton explains Iraq strike

cnn.com

Also -- since it takes many years to establish a decent spy network -- guess under which administration all of the "on the ground" intelligence in Iraq was established.

By the way -- its waaay more than 1000 dead. I count the Iraqi soldiers, many of whom were draftees, as people too.

The only way this war was justified was on the assertion that the US faced an imminent threat from WMDs. 1000 people dead for pesticide doesn't cut it.

The operative phrase there is "imminent threat". Even the existence of WMDs doesn't cut it without them being an imminent threat.
