Well, you certainly haven't listened very closely then.
80+% of Americans heard Bush loud & clear.

As for more diplomacy, again you must have had you head
burried in the sand. For more than 12 years, diplomacy
utterly failed. That is an irrefutable fact. After
Resolution 1441, France, Russia & Germany made it clear
that no new resolution would pass threatening the use of
force, thus rendering any resolution meaningless. Now we
know that all three had huge multi-billion dollar contracts
still unpaid. They had more future contracts that are only
viable if Saddam stays in power. All three helped Saddam
militarily, even selling illegal arms right up to &
including after the shooting began.

How would have any more diplomacy been effective? Any
reasonable, honest answer would have to say it would have
not worked at all given these circumstances.

Spin, lie & distort away if you wish, but the reality of
this situation will not change unless you are into
revisionist history.
