No, Kerry knew exactly what he was doing. He had reservations about Bush's motives (and was right about that) but he knew this was the time to take Saddam out, and he supported it. But he has been very critical of the way Bush went about it. Wasting nine months going through the UN when he never intended to honor the UN in the first place. Meanwhile the whole world economy stopped. Cost us probably a trillion bucks in GNP.

Kerry would have done it much smarter. Either attacked unilaterally and F the UN, or gone all the way with the UN. The way Bush did it was rushed and schitzo.

We won the war easy but now the aftermath will be a huge expensive mess we're not ready for. Do you realize we now have to leave 100,000 or more men in Iraq for years? What a waste of money, livs and US energy. Iraq was not worth it. Not the way Bush did it. should have either just killed Saddam quick or gone with the world coalition and shared expenses. Now we're stuck with the tab. And who wants it?
