My point, and the discussion, was what methods will the US employ to enforce the occupation of Iraq ? Will that include depopulating areas and killing crops ? My answer was that we don't know the future, but these methods were used in the past by the US in Vietnam. So they are not unthinkable in Iraq now.

My father, for one, sure as hell appreciated that defoliation. Lot easier to prevent getting killed if you can actually see the enemy.

Got exposed to a lot of Agent Orange though. Probably did US troops more harm than anyone else.
