Thank you, and I agree. >Hopefully your continual bashing of America will die down. I for one get a bit tired of it. I think you have missed the point. I do not bash America, as you call it, but this administration --- and particularly its actions in Iraq. If, on the other hand, the current administration, who ever that is, is actually America, then you are right. However, if you care to read the post which I made to Dave earlier I think my position is perfectly clear that I am not "American bashing" but "administration bashing":Message 18814887 >>> The US has an unequalled history of generosity, and I'm not being sarcastic. In fact, what is happening now, to many observers, including myself, simply doesn't make any sense in view of its overall past behaviour. From being a "benevolent uncle", the US now appears to have become a "rapacious tiger". That is why I continuously blame the "think tanks" and the pro-Israel lobby for this because the new American policy is by no means typical of what we have seen previously. And, this is what I maintain --- this new policy is not even in America's own best interests.<<< >Too bad the Iraqi's whom you did not want liberated did not have the same choice. That maybe a nice sentiment but I do not believe anyone has the right to "liberate" anyone else, as you call it, especially in defiance of the UN and when that "liberation" involves the death or injury to even a single person, as it has done. That is the difference between the Rule of Law and the Rule of the Jungle where might is right.
