Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Is that the Syracuse Orangemen celebrating their national championship?

Nope. It's Iraqi people celebrating their liberty. And the greatest hero in these people's lives, George W. Bush!

Robert,

At this moment Fox news claims that al-Jazeera has televised the pictures of Iraqi citizens (with good ole American help) take down that massive statue of Saddam Hussein and the jubilant celebration they had when the statue came down.

Now, what the average Arab in the middle east makes of these images is another problem. I would hope that it will suddenly dawn upon many of them that they have been consistently lied to and misled by their own government medias and al-Jazeera.

I must say it gives me a very satisfying feeling to watch the Iraqis celebrate. It's a stark reminder to all Americans how precious freedom is and how elusive true liberty remains in so many parts of the world.

As for that statue they brought down I hope the Iraqis keep the pedestal there and place a plaque upon it which says something like, "Statue of the missing dictator. In memory of all of those who suffered at his hands"
