In your opinion, is this reminiscent of the day the Berlin Wall came down?

The Fall of the Wall on November 9, 1989 was a very lucky event insofar as not a single shot was fired and nobody was killed. Some Russian officers were ready to launch their tanks but fortunately there was no German Tiananmen.

The Baghdad scenes remind me more of the upheaval in Romania in December 1989. Of course no foreign army was involved then but two similarities are a period of confusion and continued fighting by some loyal units, in Romania's case the secret police "Securitate" even after Ceausescu had disappeared.
