You just don't get it. You mention the slaughter of 100,000 Iraqis. By whom? Saddam has killed that many or maybe more. The U.S. has put an end to the slaughter. The celebration in Iraq has just begun. We will soon bring food and water and help citizens get back to a normal life.

I wished for an outcome that didn't involve the slaughter of up to 100,000 Iraqis

So did I.

If you ask me, we spent over 5 years doing the diplomatic equivalent of BEGGING Saddam to disarm without us forcing to do so militarily.

So the moral is -- if the USA asks me to disarm or else -- I'll believe them !!!
