Man, talk about a short memory. Maybe the reason Gore was talking tax cuts during the campaign was because the economy was still going gangbusters. Who knew Bush could cripple the economy so quickly.

The economy was starting it's decline even then. Most of Bush's tax cuts have not even gone into effect, so exactly how has he "crippled" the economy?

The bubble burst and it's not Bush's fault. Get over it.

Simply not true. Both supply side and Keynesian economists would recognize that the lower tax cuts would help the economy (The supply siders would be arguing for consistent low rates and the Keynesians would be arguing that either lower taxes or more spending when the economy is going down will help turn it around. The Keynesians however would argue for a surplus during good times so that the overall debt stays manageable).
