Current interview on NPR.

Reporter in Baghdad: "There is joy and jubilation in the streets!"
Guy in studio: "But it's not universal, is it?"
Reporter in Baghdad: "Well, it is widespread. I haven't seen any people unhappy to see the Americans."
Guy in studio: "But isn't there still gun fighting in the outskirts of the city?"
Reporter in Baghdad: "There might be, but I haven't seen or heard any. Everyone is happy here."
Guy in studio: "But what about the looting?"
Reporter in Baghdad: "There is some looting, but it seems confined to taking things out of the government buildings..."
Guy in studio: "So to sum up, you're saying people are happy we are there?"

The guy in the studio is having a frickin hissy-fit that nobody in Baghdad hates the Americans. Is that fair and balanced?

(And we pay for this shit.)
